Mark is the founder and owner of APC Training Limited which has been established for 22 years. Mark worked in private practice for many years before setting up his own agency and property management business called Hoffman Partners.

Mark qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1997, became a Fellow in 2012 and an RICS Registered Valuer in 2020. Mark has acted as an APC Mentor for the Central London Region on behalf of RICS for 22 years and has guided more than 1,000 candidates successfully through the APC process working with all the large companies as well as many private individuals.

Adrienne Yarwood BSc, PG Dip, MSc, MCIArb, FCInstE, FRICS, is Course Leader for the RICS accredited degree programmes for Quantity Surveying and Facilities Management at the University of Central Lancashire, in Preston.

She has held several active roles within the RICS including Regional Boards and Governing Council.

Adrienne has been an RICS assessor and Chair for over 15 years and is also a member of the appeals panel.  She assesses on Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Academic pathways. She is also an APC auditor.

Erin has over 10 years experience in property and heads up the Project Management and Building Consultancy Team. She is an APC Mentor and APC Assessor based in Scotland.

Janie is a qualified Chartered Surveyor who has extensive experience in business development, sales and client relationship management across recruitment property and IT sectors.

Herbie is the office security guard. Well known for his love of sleeping next to Mark and occasionally demanding a treat, he is more likely to lick you than attack!

Ruth co-founded APC Training with Mark in 2000.

A qualified secondary school teacher and former deputy head teacher, Ruth is responsible for the Accounts Team.

Kelvin has been an RICS APC Assessor since 2008 and Chairperson since 2019. His experience extends to more than 100 assessments.

Kelvin provides APC, SPA and AssocRICS training predominantly in the Middle East region and has a 100% pass rate.

Matt has headed up the Building Surveying team for approximately 5 years having qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 2010.

David Inman FRICS CEnv PIEMA PCQI TechIOA is director and Chartered Environmental Surveyor and Chartered Environmentalist at DIEM Ltd, based in Formby, Merseyside.

He is an APC Chairman assessor and assesses Facilities Management, Environmental Surveying and Management Consultancy.

25+ years industry experience across a range of disciplines including acquisition, disposal, development, valuation, asset management, landlord & tenant and rating. Employed in various roles across the public and private sectors with a focus on delivering added value for Landlords and Tenants. Currently working at
Avison Young in the Valuation Advisory team supporting a range of North West clients including Liverpool City Council.

Qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2005 having studied at the College of Estate Management between 2000 and 2003.

Key skills include property asset management, market and rental valuation, inspection, landlord and tenant, rating, commercial leasing, rent review/lease renewal and development.

Jamie joined APC Training in 2020 to develop the online learning academy and is responsible for  maintaining the website and online learning portal.

As the Sales Director, he is often the first point of contact for new clients.

A former valuer in local government, valuation and landlord and tenant lecturer, and RICS Training Adviser.

Currently a consultant in private practice, a valuation auditor, a Valuer Member of the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and an APC / AssocRICS training consultant.

Qualifying in 2005, Clare has worked in both commercial surveying firms and in-house for leisure and retail businesses, focussing primarily on Landlord and Tenant and Property Management.

Over the last 9 years Clare has been involved with the RICS as an APC Mentor and as a trainer for APC Training, and is an active RICS APC Chair / Assessor.

Navin recently joined the APC team to head up the Residential Team.

Navin is a former client of APC Training so has first hand experience of how good the courses are!

James is an experienced APC Mentor specialising in Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying.
